Biography
Ewa J. Kleczyk, PhD is an accomplished professional in the field of healthcare analytics and data curation. As the Senior Vice President of Commercial Analytics & Data Curation at Target RWE, she leads the provision of cutting‐edge real‐world data (RWD) solutions that are essential in the drug development and commercialization process within the healthcare industry. With two decades of experience, Dr. Kleczyk has built a remarkable reputation as a leader in healthcare analytics and operatIons. She has a proven track record of establishing high‐performing teams and delivering innovative analytics solutions. Her expertise extends to commercial analytics applications, privacy compliance, and data operations, which she honed during her previous role as Vice President of Advanced and Custom Analytics at Symphony Health, ICON, plc. Dr. Kleczyk is widely recognized as an authority in her field and is frequently invited to speak at renowned industry conferences. She has shared her insights and expertise at prestigious events such as the Pharmaceutical Marketing Sciences Association, HIMSS, DTC Perspectives, CDM Media, Pharmaceutics & Novel Drug Delivery Systems, and the Conference for Business and Economics at Harvard University. Her speaking engagements also encompass various women's conferences that delve into advancing women in different professional domains. Furthermore, Dr. Kleczyk has made significant contributions to academia and industry through her publications in multiple journals and her involvement as a board member in several peer‐reviewed publications. Her dedication to mentoring future women leaders in the healthcare industry has earned her numerous leadership awards, including the esteemed HBA's 'Rising Star' and 'Luminary' recognitions. In recognition of her exceptional contributions, Dr. Kleczyk was a finalist for the Contribution of the Year category at the Women in IT Awards in 2022. Moreover, in 2023, she was honored as a Global Champion for Women in Healthcare Leadership by CIO Views Magazine. Adding to her list of accolades, Dr. Kleczyk was bestowed with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award during the GILA Award Ceremony in New York City in July 2023. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Kleczyk remains actively engaged in community service and advocacy. Together with her husband, James Strout, she serves as a Board Member on the Community Cancer Council for the Northern Light Health Network in Bangor, Maine. In this role, she provides invaluable support and advocacy for cancer patients. Additionally, she is a respected member of the graduate faculty in the School of Economics at the University of Maine, Orono, where she established an academic scholarship for graduate students in the School of Economics. This scholarship aims to foster higher education and nurture future leaders in economic development in Maine and across the nation. Dr. Kleczyk's dedication to education and industry growth is further evident through her role as the Chair of the College Advisory Board for the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture. She works closely with the Dean and faculty to develop college programs and degrees that contribute to the flourishing economies and industries of Maine and the Northeast region. Dr. Kleczyk holds a Doctorate Degree in Agricultural & Applied Economics from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia. She also obtained an MS in Resource Economics and Policy and a BA in Economics with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Maine, Orono.
