The Act of Affirmation: The Silent Thunderbolt

What is the act of affirmation? It happens truly each and every moment of each and every single day, with each and every single breath you take.

Many people do not consider the mind to be the unceasing, dynamic, and highly transformational function that it is. They behave as if, for much of the time, the mind were switched off or on standby, while in reality it is constantly running like an engine at full power.

What many people have switched off is conscious awareness. When awareness remains in standby mode, people often lack the ability to intentionally operate the full functionality of the conscious mind. As a result, they can remain victims of semi-conscious, unconscious, and subconscious conditioning instead of consciously and intentionally conditioning the mind.

Affirmation and Conscious Awareness

The act of affirmation tears apart habitual brain fog. Bob Proctor often said that most people would be shocked if they realized what they were thinking, while also pointing out that mental activity does not necessarily equate to thinking.

Borgia argues that many people would not be shocked by what they are thinking, but by realizing that they are not thinking at all; they are merely reiterating subconscious conditioning.

In this context, the act of affirmation comes into play. Every conscious act of affirmation has the potential to transform a life.
